Top Gun: Maverick

Few franchises carry the weight of legacy like Top Gun. For Top Gun: Maverick, we were tasked with crafting a campaign that honored the original while reintroducing the thrill to a new generation. The story picks up decades later, with Pete "Maverick" Mitchell still pushing limits both in the sky and emotionally, and that balance of nostalgia and adrenaline became the heartbeat of our campaign.

We focused on design-forward editorial content that amplified the film's high-octane style and emotional core. From Amazon.com homepage takeovers to thumb stopping social content, every asset leaned into the iconography-fighter jets, sunset silhouettes, and call-sign typography-that fans instantly recognized. These weren't just ads; they were cinematic vignettes made to fuel hype and conversation.

Our editorial strategy treated each social moment like a runway: quick, sharp, and ready for takeoff. Design systems echoed the film's cinematic scale, while short-form edits and stills maximized impact across platforms like Instagram, X, and YouTube. The result was a campaign that reignited love for the Top Gun legacy and soared across audiences old and new.
