Blockers

Blockers is a raunchy teen comedy with unexpected heart and a standout cast led by John Cena, Leslie Mann, and Ike Barinholtz. The campaign embraced the film's absurd premise-three parents desperately trying to stop their daughters from following through on a prom-night pact-and leaned into the chaos, awkwardness, and emotional surprises that came with it.

We built a visually punchy social presence across Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube, anchored in editorial humor, bright design, and a quick-cut meme strategy. From quote cards to gif-able freak-outs to parent POV moments, the assets were built to feel like part of the story rather than ads for it. The tone mirrored the film's comedy style-loud, honest, and just a little inappropriate-while keeping things fast-moving and platform-native.

John Cena's fanbase became a secret weapon. Custom content was created specifically for his channels, including selfie-style promos and comedic cutdowns tailored to his voice. These exclusive pieces delivered millions of organic impressions and played a major role in driving awareness and word-of-mouth, helping Blockers surpass studio benchmarks and solidify its status as a surprise comedy hit.
