Tupac needs no introduction. The film is a biopic of the trials and tribulations of Tupac Amaru Shakur from age one until his death.
The approach we wanted was to create a throughline that Tupac was a real person and not a myth or a legend. His art throughout his career and until his demise still resonates to this day. Using documentary style techniques, we wanted to create a realistic depiction of Tupac.
