Late Night is a heart-filled comedy about legacy, reinvention, and finding your voice. Emma Thompson plays Katherine Newbury, a legendary late-night host struggling to stay relevant as her ratings slip. Enter Molly Patel, played by Mindy Kaling, a fresh, unlikely new writer who brings a much-needed perspective to the all-male, all-white writers' room.
To support the film's theatrical release, we partnered with Amazon Studios to produce a robust social campaign, including a fully scripted shoot day with Thompson and Kaling. The duo delivered sharp, charming moments, riffing off of custom tasks and comedic blurbs, that gave us a wide bank of shortform content across platforms.
We also built out a suite of ticketing-driven content tailored for Snapchat, Instagram, and X, pushing fans from feed to purchase in a matter of taps. The result: millions of views, strong word of mouth, and a campaign that reached both loyal comedy fans and new audiences alike.
